Mazen Bekdash

Mazen is a Crisis, Emergency Response and Security Management Specialist, with over 20 years in the consultancy industry. He began his career with Qatar Airways in 2003 after obtaining his Aerospace MBA from ESC-Toulouse. He then served with Emirates Airline in Marketing and Sales and won the Chairman's Outstation Silver Award for the Crisis Communications Plan. In 2006, Mazen was appointed as the Senior Director Technical at the Arab Air Carriers Organisation, with his main responsibilities in safety, security and emergency response planning. 

Mazen joined Kenyon in 2010 as the Regional Manager for the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. Since then, Mazen has held several senior roles at Kenyon before reaching the position of Vice President Business Development. In addition to his daily commercial duties, considering his senior incident deployment experience since joining Kenyon, Mazen also supports our global clients with training and operations, in countries such as Egypt, Libya, the UAE and more. Mazen has always had a particular interest in the training and development of staff.

In 2019, Mazen obtained a Doctorate in Crisis Management from Toulouse Business School and is currently an AVSEC Professional Manager and a Certified Member of the renowned Business Continuity Institute (CBCI).
