Mass Burials

In many cases, temporary interment is required while waiting for victim identification or locating next of kin. Kenyon has developed respectful and dignified procedures specifically for temporary internment of the deceased that enhance the ability to exhume the bodies later for repatriation.

The process includes the collection of ante-mortem data and DNA samples to supplement the identification process. Burials are recorded using GPS location equipment and also include the use of underground and aboveground artificial landmarks for ease of recovery.
