Winsome Lee

Winsome Lee joined Kenyon in 2017 and has since become the Team Member Regional Coordinator for Asia. She is currently a graduate student in Forensic Science (Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Archaeology) and retains an MA, BA (Departmental Honor) and MIIM. She is trained in bioarchaeology and physical anthropology.

Aside from being a student, Winsome also works as the forensic anthropologist for the National Police of Timor Leste. There she assists with providing clues, answers and even closures for civilians killed in the massacres of the 70s and 90s. Her educational background includes degrees in Philosophy (with Departmental Honor, BA, University of Oregon), Anthropology (MA, The Chinese University of Hong Kong) and is currently a candidate of Forensic Sciences (Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Archaeology) (MSc, University of Leicester). She has interned as a forensic anthropologist in Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Office.

Her first book on forensic anthropology was published in Chinese in May 2017 as public literature, with the second edition reprinted in June 2017. She is also a consistent contributor to Hong Kong’s online news platforms.
