Kenyon Humanitarian Services Manager Otibho Edeke-Agbareh had the privilege of visiting WestJet HQ in Calgary early this month to hold a two-day Crisis Management training.
The first day began with a Crisis Leadership training for their leadership team which included a conference call with Kenyon Chairman Robert A. Jensen, who provided answers to key questions participants had. The second pard of the consisted of a Special Assistance Team (SAT) presentation for their new SAT Members. The presentation was followed by a simulation exercise, where participants, including WestJet CEO Edward Sims, practiced their responsibilities during a family briefing. Otibho focussed on Family Assistance Centre management and best practices on the second day with their Response Logistics Team.
Such an educational trip!
