  • Special Assistance Team Members to support families and attendees.

  • A Crisis Communications Director to assist with media inquiries and communications.

  • A technical briefer about the progress of the investigation.

  • Memorials are a very important milestone for families during their recovery from a mass fatality loss. Read more about memorials in this newsletter presented by Kenyon Team Member, Gail Rowntree.

Flybe BE1284, February 2017: Following a hard landing at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the Kenyon International Call Center was activated as an inquiry call center and data management cell. Kenyon First Responders were placed on standby and the Crisis Management Center was opened and staffed by Team Members to handle the logistical and administrative needs of this response. Mental Health Team Members provided support to passengers and crew. Kenyon provided crisis communications support as well. There were no injuries or fatalities.

Germanwings 4U9525, March 2015: The personal effects (PE) catalog was opened again in April for one family and is now closed. The PE team is still maintaining the database and processing the claims as they are received.

Tunisia Terror Attacks, June 2015: All PE previously claimed by families or survivors have been returned. The balance of unclaimed PE was securely stored until the UK inquest into the attacks was completed. We are now coordinating the destruction of the remaining, unclaimed items.

Luxaviation, May 2017: Activated Kenyon to provide family assistance support to an employee who was a passenger on a non-Lux helicopter, which crashed while attempting a ship landing.
